Fire Prevention Week is right around the corner and fire departments are busy getting ready. With budgets being cut, fundraising is more important than ever. This great idea came from the Surry Volunteer Fire Department in Maine. The fire department is holding a contest for kids to name their stuffed fire bear. Once named, the bears will be sold to raise funds for Fire Prevention Week.
